I have been supporting families for over 10 years through the childbearing year. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve you and your family.
My home is filled with my two kids, our ever-evolving menagerie of pets, our beloved garden, and what seems like millions of incorrigible blackberry brambles.

Kate Wortham, LM, CPM became inspired to support and advocate for families after attending her own mother and the birth of her sister 1993.
She is inspired by the profound sacredness of birth and the innate wisdom that each birthing person carries within them. She holds true that birth has the ability to heal, to bring us together, and to build a more empowered and loving world.
As a midwife, she offers care that weaves together the foundations of traditional midwifery and evidence based practices, as well as the healing modalities of Western Herbalism and Ayurveda.
Kate is from Washington state and has recently returned after 10 years away, living and traveling in other states and counties. She loves the PNW and lives in Tacoma with her husband, her spunky 2 year old daughter, and their dog-like cat. She spends as much time outdoors as possible, gardening, hiking, camping and hopes to rekindle her love for cold water surfing!
